JW Finds is operated by W Boite Media, 29 rue Turgeon, Québec, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It follows Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada’s PIPEDA.

What we collect

Order information: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number, products ordered.
Payment: payments are processed by PayPal and Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Messages: what you send us by email or through our forms.
Newsletter: your email address, only if you subscribe.
Browsing data: pages viewed, device and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar tools (see below).

Why we use it

To process, ship and track your order, and to handle returns and refunds.
To answer your questions and send emails about your order.
To send our newsletter, if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To measure our advertising and improve the store, only with your consent when the law requires it.
To prevent fraud and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

Only with the service providers we need to run the store, and only what they need:

Supplier partners and carriers, to prepare and deliver your order (name, address, phone).
Payment processors: PayPal and Stripe.
Our hosting provider (servers in Germany) and our email delivery provider.
Advertising and analytics platforms (Meta, Google), only with your consent, to measure ad results.

Some of these providers are located outside Quebec and Canada (including the United States, the European Union and China for order fulfilment). We only use providers that protect information adequately. We never sell your personal information.

Cookies and advertising

Essential cookies make the cart and checkout work. With your consent, we also use measurement and advertising tools (such as Meta Pixel, Google Analytics and Google Ads) to know which ads bring visitors and sales. You can accept or refuse them in the cookie banner and change your choice at any time.

How long we keep it

Order information is kept for 7 years for tax and accounting reasons. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Other data is deleted when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, withdraw your consent, or ask how a decision about you was made. Write to info@jwfinds.com; we answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

The store uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted access and daily security monitoring. If a privacy incident creates a risk of serious harm, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.
